About the stillpoint...
What is it?
It is the source of your true nature. We know ourselves to be the person who has been born to accumulated a self image based on family, social environment, experience and all the rest of it! We identify with this idea and with our bodies as if they are who we really are. Sometimes this is called "ego". Ego is often considered the culprit when we think of those who are conceited, vain, or have an exagerated idea of their own importance. But ego can also be responsible for having a poor self image or for feeling uncertain of our selves. By identifying the nature of our 'self talk', the internal dialogue that we all use to define ourselves and interpret our life and environment, we can begin to understand the difference between what we think we are and who we really are. Who we are in truth is something quite different than the product of accumulated thought patterns. Intuitively we know this, we know we are connected to the stillpoint within because somehow it is very very familar. We know the source of our being but have forgotten it.
Where is it?
We are all able to be free from the effects of incorrect self concepts. We have the potential for joy, love, bliss and deep happiness. We have the capacity to experience life with wonder and rapture. We are the the source of our own happiness. Each of us has an innate sense of existence or consciousness, sometimes refered to as I am, It is, being, I consciousness or the sense of Is-ness.
Once you discover your inner stillpoint you cannot loose it, you are it!
